4047 Aluminum Alloy is an aluminum silicon brazing or filler alloy with good corrosion resistance. The main difference between alloy 4047 and it’s AL4043 counterpart is its higher silicon content. Brazing is a metal joining process whereby a filler metal is heated above the melting point and distributed between two or more close fitting parts by capillary action.
