4032 Aluminum Strip

Eagle Alloys Corporation (EAC) is the leading global supplier of 4032 strip.  EAC stocks a wide variety of strip sizes in 4032 Aluminum and can also supply custom strip sizes with short turnaround times.  Aluminum 4032 strip is used in a variety of applications including Laser Weld Covers for microwave integrated circuits, sound recording devices, and copier parts.  Eagle Alloys Corporation can supply strip from 0.010” Thk up to 0.1875” Thk  and up to 8”wide in 4032 Aluminum.  For thicker material EAC also can supply sheet and plate up to 8” Thk.  Foil in 4032 aluminum are commonly supplied in the F Temper or ½ Hard Temper and meets the chemical requirements of AMS 4145.  Please see, save, or print our 4032 Stock list for stock sizes and full capabilities.

4032 Aluminum Strip compositions contain 12.2% silicon to provide welding characteristics.  In addition, magnesium, nickel, and copper content allow the material to be heat treated to yield strength levels comparable to 6061-T6.  4032 Aluminum Strip may be viewed as either a heat treatable type 4047 or a laser weldable type 6061.  Aluminum 4032 Laser welded covers for Microwave Integrated Circuits and similar devices with dimensions of 2” in length and larger are best fabricated from 4032 Aluminum alloy.  4032 Aluminum eliminates the need for hard coat anodizing used in high temperature forging applications.
